JEFF GARRISON, J.D.,CPC, AIC

I joined the Garrison Organization in 2000 and became the owner in 2006.  Prior to the Garrison Organization, I worked in the claims department at GuideOne Insurance as an adjuster in Seattle, a supervisor in Denver, and the Claims Project Manager at the home office in West Des Moines.

My personal practice is focused on P&C Claims Professionals from Adjusters, Technical Specialists, and Management.

I love recruiting, but at the end of the day I go home to Angela, my high school sweetheart and wife of nearly 18 years.  We began building our family with a cat and a dog and we now have five children.  They are Claire(11), Will(9), Luke(3), Grace and Paige(1 year old twins).

With whatever time is left in my day, I am active at Lutheran Church of Hope, I fill the role of short and slow guard on the basketball court, and I am an aspiring amateur woodworker who still possesses all ten of his fingers.

SUSIE HEATHMAN

I joined the Garrison Organization in 2007 and have been in the insurance industry since 1992.  During that time I have held a variety of positions which include underwriting, sales and marketing and IT. 

My personal practice is focused on P&C Underwriting Professionals from Desk Underwriters, Production Underwriters, and Management.

I am very excited to utilize my past experiences to help “bridge underwriting talent with opportunity”.  

My time outside of the office is spent with my three awesome children:  Hannah (11), Will (8) and Ben (5).  I help coach my daughter’s softball team and have been the “team parent” for my daughter’s soccer team as well as my son’s baseball team.  The four of us spend our“free time” in the summer at our family’s vacation home at the Lake of the Ozarks.  I also enjoy watching college football, the Food Network, HGTV and I love to entertain.

I started the Garrison Organization in 1986 after spending 25 years serving in both field and home office positions with one of America's leading life insurance companies. I believed then and I still believe today after having placed several hundred people, that talent is a rare commodity and putting talent in the right place at the right time is the most critical factor in a company's success. I am thankful for the opportunity that I have had to contribute to so many people's careers and their companies for the last 20 years. Today I still focus on nationwide search for Senior Sales and Marketing Officers, Regional Managers, and General Agents & Managers for the Life & Financial Services industry.

Although the increasing demand for talent creates a challenge, I still carve out plenty of time to spend with Jan, my wife of 50 years, my nine grandchildren, my two great-grandchildren, and my golf clubs (not necessarily in that order).
